This is my 1970 Chevelle. Once this is finished I will probably be able to buy a rifle relatively soon after.

Here is the 350 Chevy I rebuilt for it.

Its a 2 bolt. Being mostly stock it should be pushing about 275-300 hp. The only thing I changed was adding a mild cam so it would sound better.

Tongue Very nice! One of the only chevy's i've ever had was a really nice 72' Chevelle. BB402 and all stock with bench seat, AC and 28k original miles. Sold it in 83 to finish my 72 mustang.  :{)

Actually I think it's an 800.

Being the self-appointed resident Bow Tie expert, a stock 350 with only a mild cam will not dyno more than 250hp REAL WORLD HP's and should never be run with more than 600cfm of carb.
I've had big blocks that dyno'd best with a 750.
Over-carb is the easiest way to kill a motor's potential.
My motor? Craig's List the 800 (if it is) and get a 600. It'll run circles around that toilet on a small cube, low compression motor like that 350.

Oh ok. I am learning as I go so when I get the chance I'll look at the packaging and double check.

Thanks for the heads up.

Nice old muscles cars never go out of style.  Have you gotten to drive the new Camero?  My wife works for GMAC as a car dealership auditor and she got to put the rubber to the street a months back when GM was releasing display cars to some of the showrooms.  Now she wants one it was a 2ss model with all the bells and whistles.
