Huh, three parts will turn into five...you watch! That could very well be. If anyone has any input into this please let us know what you think or what you might like to see in the video.

A LOT OF METAL PLATES RINGING, ONE AFTER THE OTHER ALL THE WAY OUT TO 600yards FOR THE 101 EDITION IS WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE! LOL. Most of my shots on game have been -200yds. Once I made a 340yd shot on a standing deer(.30-06) from a quickly kneeling position(with three witnesses). I have made a 635yd shot on a cow Elk(with the .338/06, one witness). I have shot out to 1200 yards just playing around and have not counted it. I have shot out to 600yards at Sean's steel plate several times with the ole' .338/06! Only the serious distances should count here. Thanks Gents. Make sure you share your interest about our website with your family and friends. The more the merrier! :{)

Interesting stats on this poll. I felt embarassed to think that most of my shots, whether target or game, were no longer than my t-shots! (And no, I am no Jon Daly! )

Fall 1984 - 7mm Rem Mag Sierra 160gr SBT 2900fps - 4" high @ 100yds, impact 30" low. Exbal says somewhere between 480 to 500 yds (or so).
Fall 1991 - same 7mm Rem Mag Speer 145gr SBT 3100fps - 4" high @ 100yds, impact 24" low. Exbal says somewhere between 530 & 550 yds.
Fall 2009 - 270 Win Sierra 130gr SBT 2940fps - 4" high @ 100yds. Impact 6" Low. The Nikon 1200 Range Finder said 385yds.
My brother shoots a 7mm STW Ackley, Nosler 140gr BT 3450fps. 3" high @ 100yds, has taken a lot of deer 400 & 600 yds. The last one he put it into the eye of the buck @ 585yds according to the Nikon 1200 Laser Range Finder.

Well, I was born in 1983.... so from my perspective you've got a good deal of experience to say the least. First animal I took at long range was in 2001 (not including coyotes).
