I don't know about you guys but I'm itchin to get to the range. The last time I went was in April, right before the turkey hunting season started.  Since then we've been to Charlotte Nc twice, New York, New Jersey, and Washington D.C.  When ever there is a window of opportunity I can't take advantage of it because its so dad blamed hot.   September is coming.  Temps are usually in the mid 80s then.

Grin im going to a shoot tomorrow....called a "rifle rodeo "
its just up to 300meters with hunting simulated targets,
only hunting calibres and weight,
and shot, prone, standing, kneeling. no pods or slings
will be fun  Sniper

and yes the temps are gonna be coming down soon,
after i get back from sheephunting next week i think its time the 338EdgeAI comes back out
and do sum more shooting with it.....

I'll be zeroing my 308 for the upcoming 1K shoot at the end of the month. All my buddies had written me off already. They said that my 308 shooting the 155 grain Lapua Scenar has no chance. I can't blame them. The conditions at the range where we hold this competition is pretty tough. Heat, mirage and wind is brutal at this time of the year. This is only my third time competing ever so I have a lot to learn.

Here's some picture from the competition last memorial day weekend. These were the morning shooters:

These were the afternoon shooters:

It's 1K at the base of the hill.
