What I really do not understand with our current government is that this ban will not deter the majority of crime in America. There have been very few unique cases where "assault weapons" were actually used. Most crimes are dealt with by using handguns because they are so easily concealed.
We as law abiding citizens are the ones that are going to be stripped of the rights to bear arms and the ability to defend ourselves, our families and property. Criminials do not care about laws, they will find a way around them everytime. So in the end only the ones who play by the rules, are the ones who ultimatlely get screwed by the rules put in place by a liberal government.
I love my country but I truly dislike my government.
